The Terminal

Plot:

Viktor Navorski (Tom Hanks), a man from the fictional country of Krakozhia arrives at New York City's John F. Kennedy International Airport, only to discover that during the flight his country's government has been overthrown by rebels, invalidating his passport and thus leaving him stranded. Over the next nine months, Viktor is forced to live in the terminal building, unable either to set foot into the United States or to go home. He befriends the staff at the terminal, including airline stewardess Amelia Warren (Catherine Zeta-Jones), whilst being under the watchful eye of Immigration Officer Frank Dixon (Stanley Tucci), who wants the "Navorski problem" removed from the airport.

One day, Viktor explains to Amelia that the purpose of his visit to New York City is to collect an autograph of the jazz tenor saxophonist Benny Golson. His father, who has died, was a jazz enthusiast. He had discovered the "Great Day in Harlem" photograph in a Hungarian newspaper in 1958, and vowed to get an autograph of all the 57 jazz musicians featured on the photograph. Over the next 40 years, he had managed to collect an autograph of all of them, except for one person: Benny Golson. Viktor wants to collect this last one to fulfil his father's dream.

A few months later, the news reports that the war in Krakozhia is over, but Dixon will still not allow Viktor to enter the United States. Amelia reveals that she had asked her 'friend', actually a married government official with whom she had long been having an intermittent affair, to assist Viktor in obtaining permission to travel within the U.S., but Viktor is disappointed to learn she has renewed her relationship with the man during this process.

To make matters worse, Dixon needs to sign the form granting Viktor the right to remain in the United States, but refuses, instead deciding to deport him out of spite. Thanks to the timely interference of the friends Viktor has made during his stay in the terminal, he is allowed to leave the airport. As Viktor prepares to take a taxi to the Ramada Inn, 161 Lexington Avenue, in New York, where Benny Golson is performing, he observes Amelia exiting from a cab, where she gives him a wistful smile. He attends the show and collects the autograph, finally completing the collection. Afterwards, Victor leaves and hails a taxi, telling the driver that he wants to go home – thus leaving the audience to wonder if he's referring to the airport terminal or Krakozhia.

Beautiful Japan!

This picture was shot in Japan during the spring vacation in this year. My family and I wanted to relax ourselves and build up our emotions. So we decided to take a trip to Japan to enjoy the beautiful cherry blossoms and scenic scenery. So I rightly took this beautiful picture which has mountain, woods, brook, bridge, flowers, and some children and adults.
In the photograph, the bottle-green mountain is located at the back. There are seas of woods in front of the mountain. And it seems that there is a house in the woods.
It is in the center of picture, and it is very small. Because it is very faraway. Then there is a lake in front of the woods. The lake has absinthe-green gloss. And then a bridge which made from wood is over the lake. There are many people over the bridge. Then the cherry blossoms is on the right side of bridge. The cherry blossoms
have pink color, and it is very beautiful. It is the topical subject of this picture.
Japan is really a special country. There are many places which have beautiful scenery. And it can relax our nervous life. I will travel in Japan again in the future.

SCHOOL OF ROCK

搖滾教室-SCHOOL OF ROCK

Plot:
Black plays Dewey Finn, a talented yet excitable 29-year-old heavy metal/hard rock singer and guitarist with a reputation for being difficult to work with. His flamboyant on-stage antics, however, get him kicked out of his band, "No Vacancy." His roommate Ned, a substitute teacher (played by White), threatens eviction under heavy pressure from his overbearing girlfriend (played by Sarah Silverman) unless Dewey gets a real job and pays his rent debt of $2,200. Ned suggests selling one of his guitars instead, but Dewey is disdainful of this idea ("Would you tell Picasso to sell one of his guitars?"). A phone call from the principal (played by Joan Cusack) of a prestigious prep school asking for Ned's services leads Dewey to impersonate his roommate and get a job as a substitute for the fifth-grade class.

Dewey takes the job to make as much money with as little effort as possible, until he discovers that some of the kids in the class have musical talent, he decides to turn his temporary job into what he tells them is a special school project, but is actually a personal one: turn a classroom full of kids into a band and crew, complete with a ten-year-old manager (played by Miranda Cosgrove) which will serve as a vehicle to stardom.

Dewey is the band's lead singer and rock teacher, exposing his students to such rock legends as Led Zeppelin (Dewey: "Don't tell me none of you have ever gotten the Led out."), The Doors, AC/DC, The Beatles, The Who, Black Sabbath, Pink Floyd, Rush, and Yes. Five rock stars are featured with classic footage in the movie: Jimi Hendrix, Pete Townshend, Angus Young, Keith Moon and Kurt Cobain. In addition, during a montage, the drummer, Freddy, is seen watching footage of the famous drum battle between Buddy Rich and Ed Shaughnessy. The movie culminates in the class' final project: performance in a local battle of the bands, where, instead of playing Dewey's "In the End of Time" they play "School of Rock" written by young band member Zack Mooneyham. Unfortunately, the class loses to Dewey's old band. However, the class does not care about the loss because Dewey's "school of rock" gives them more self-esteem and an understanding that rock transcends traditional notions of success and failure (Freddy the drummer: "Rock isn't about getting an A. The Sex Pistols never won anything."). The band get an encore from the crowd and play "It's a Long Way to the Top (If You Wanna Rock 'n' Roll)" by AC/DC, with some of the lyrics altered. This scene fades to the credits, which play over the next scene. This last scene features Dewey and Ned's 'School of Rock', in the form of them teaching kids to play in their apartment. The footage featuring Dewey and the kids playing "It's a Long Way to the Top (If You Wanna Rock 'n' Roll)" in the apartment was almost entirely improvised

How To Pass The Terrible Test

We have a terrible test at this Saturday. It is a physical test.
Thw range of this physical test has ten chapters. It is harsly
that we prepare it completely. Moreover, it is really very
hard. Before this terrible test, we still have some small test
about program design and English writing. I think I must
do my best to prepare it. And then I can pass it possibly.

Sharing a song~It's my life

It's my life Bon Jovi

This ain't a song for the broken-hearted

No silent prayer for the faith-departed

I ain't gonna be just a face in the crowd

You're gonna hear my voice

When I shout it out loud

It's my lifeIt's now or never

I ain't gonna live forever

I just want to live while I'm alive

(It's my life)

My heart is like an open highway

Like Frankie said

I did it my way

I just wanna live while I'm alive

It's my life

This is for the ones who stood their ground

For Tommy and Gina who never backed down

Tomorrow's getting harder make no mistake

Luck ain't even lucky

Got to make your own breaks

It's my life

And it's now or never

I ain't gonna live forever

I just want to live while I'm alive

(It's my life)

My heart is like an open highway

Like Frankie said

I did it my way

I just want to live while I'm alive

'Cause it's my life

Better stand tall when they're calling you out

Don't bend, don't break, baby, don't back down

It's my life

And it's now or never

'Cause I ain't gonna live forever

I just want to live while I'm alive

(It's my life)

My heart is like an open highway

Like Frankie said

I did it my way

I just want to live while I'm alive

DUST IN WIND

Autor :Kansas Composer :Kerry Livgren

I close my eyes
Only for a moment and the moment's gone
All my dreams
Pass before my eyes in curiosity
Dust in the wind
All they are is dust in the wind
Sang old song
Just a drop of water in an endless sea
All we do
Crumbles to the ground, though we refuse to see
Dust in the wind
All we are dust in the wind
Now don't hang on
Nothing lasts forever but the earth and sky
It slips away
All your money won't another minute buy
Dust in the wind
All we are is dust in the wind
Dust in the wind
Everything is dust in the wind

This song was taught in the basic English class, and my team did a report about it.
It's really pleasant to hear, and it can relax our mind.
Kansas is an old rock band. Their style is really strange to us,but their song is best.

Free Writing At Class

Today is a nice day. The weather is good, and the sun is shining. I take my little dog to park, running across the garden. At the very moment, I saw a cute girl wearing a dress, looking wonderfully. I make up my mind to ask telephone number, but I am shy. I hesitate to do this. In the end, I get her phone number. Her phone is calling, but no one take it, so I call Tom who is my best friend to answer the phone . But he chat with the girl so happily . I got a deep thought. I need to do something to end up this situation. It’s like a knife cutting my heart. I thought day and night. Finally I got a idea. Eventually, I went to my friend’s house with a knife. I kill him by that. It’s a tragedy. However, I am happy for that ending.
